Cutting-Edge Tools, Real-World Training
After years of research and integration of cutting-edge design tools, including AI-assisted workflows, ART 266 and ART 267 now offer students unparalleled access to resources that enhance creativity, efficiency, and professional readiness. While we cover all essential design fundamentals—software, layout, branding, visual identity—we place a strong emphasis on practical, career-focused training.
We designed these immersive, project-based classes options to give students the time and space needed to develop real-world skills and produce higher-quality work. In today’s competitive industry, having a strong portfolio filled with practical experience is more valuable than ever. Employers are looking for designers who can handle complex projects, think independently, and adapt to a variety of creative challenges. By extending class offering and focusing on intensive, hands-on learning, students gain more than just technical skills—they build confidence, problem-solving abilities, and a professional mindset.
Our approach goes beyond traditional graphic design. We prepare students to be versatile, AI future-ready creatives who can deliver complete design solutions, from branding and motion graphics to web, social media, and UX design. With a focus on real-world challenges and personalized portfolio development, students leave the program equipped to meet industry demands—whether they join a company, work freelance, or operate as a one-person design studio for own business or social channel. This structure ensures that every hour spent in class directly contributes to building a career-ready portfolio and developing the experience employers are looking for.
Build an Efficient and Immersive Schedule
For students seeking convenience and focus, consider pairing these afternoon classes with morning courses on the same days:
- Monday/Wednesday Morning: Pair with ART 253 + ART 265 (Digital Time-Based Art) for an art-focused digital experience. (Studio Art Track)
- Tuesday/Thursday Morning: Pair with ART 259 + ART 265 (Interaction & Motion Design) for a design and UX-oriented track. (Graphic Design Track)
This structure allows you to complete two key courses in one trip, maximizing your time on campus while immersing yourself in a full day of creative practice—just like a real-world studio environment. Students who want to deepen their understanding of motion design tools can also choose to take ART 253 and ART 265 together, gaining complementary perspectives and extended hands-on experience. This approach provides valuable additional time to master advanced tools like Adobe After Effects, helping you build confidence and proficiency in creating polished, industry-ready motion graphics and time-based media projects.
Prepare Faster. Learn Smarter. Design Better.
With strong faculty support, advanced technology, and a curriculum built around industry expectations, ART 266 and ART 267 will boost your employability and get you career-ready in less time.
